Islanders Education is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Main Teacher- English (Secondary) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students at various levels and helping them develop their skills in critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical reasoning.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree (MNQF Level 7) in English or an equivalent qualification in the subject of English along with a teaching Diploma (MNQF 5) or a higher teaching qualification.
- Must be very proficient in English language (speaking and writing).
- Strong knowledge and understanding of English concepts and principles.
- Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans and teaching strategies.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Relevant experience in teaching Extended English (IGCSE & A ‘level).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in English or a related field.
- Teaching experience in an international school and demonstrate knowledge of Cambridge English syllabus.
Salary and benefits
- MVR 20,800.00 - MVR 22,400.00 per month ( Annual Income: MVR 265,400.00 - MVR 284,600.00 per annum)
