Join our team as a Travel Specialist
We are seeking someone passionate about seeing the world and helping others do the same. In this role, you will plan holidays, suggest travel destinations, maintain client files, and manage large-scale events. Your ultimate goal is to keep our luxury clients satisfied and loyal for future services. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with indepth knowledge of Maldives and international travel destinations, with outstanding negotiation and sales skills.
Responsibilities
• Attend client enquiries received through emails and phone calls.
• Plan itineraries, arrange accommodations and other travel services requested by clients.
• Coordinate with our partnered resorts/hotels for reservations, confirm and manage bookings and payments efficiently.
• Compute cost of travel and accommodation and create tour package quotes.
• Complete and update the customer profiles.
• Resolve and deal with any kind of requests/issues/complaints/refunds.
• Create customer loyalty by providing professional and personalised service.
• Achieve set sales monthly targets.
• Stay up to date with travel trends by attending seminars and familiarisation trips.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in tourism, hospitality, or a relevant field.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of Maldives (preferred, not required) and foreign travel destinations.
• Excellent sales and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively.
• Outstanding knowledge of the latest tourism trends.
• Fluency in Arabic or proficiency in multiple languages is preferred.
