SENIOR CARGO CLEARANCE OFFICER (Inward & Outward)
Requirements:
• O’ Level I Degree I Diploma in supply chain management, logistics or any related discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in logistics, Customs Handling and Clearance Operations
• Hands on expertise with HS Codes & customs ASYCUDA, MPL, MACL Clearance
• Comprehensive knowledge of Customs Form Filling & Clearance Procedures
• Driving License is a must; owning motorbike is an added advantage
• Having customs broker license is an added advantage
• Ability to write and speak well in both English and Dhivehi
• Flexible enough to work long hours as and when required. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Responsibilities:
• Manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services. Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs. To be well versed with MPL & MACL clearance procedures.
• Effectively follow up on day-to-day custom clearance of the consignments.
• International Vessel handling works - Scrutiny of shipping documents such as Invoice, Packing list, Bill of Lading & Certificate of origin etc as per Customs Regulations.
• Maintain documentation and filling of voyage reports of all vessels.
• Responsible for clearing and processing all incoming and outgoing air & sea consignments on time to avoid any demurrage.
• Always ensure On-time delivery - clearing of goods from the Customs within the shortest possible time.
• Analyze and Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports / exports or customer issues.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations/customs regulations, legal, health and safety requirements.
Salary: Negotiable based on Experience & Qualification
