We are looking for
PR & Social Media Coordinator
OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT:
❖ Ensure a positive representation of image of the organization to the general public, clients, shareholders and the community.
❖ Monitor, establish and maintain Social Media platforms and communicate effectively with customers/ guests through these channels, including but not limited to X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google+ and YouTube etc.
❖ Proactively listen to customers across all social channels and respond appropriately either directly or on behalf of other teams.
❖ Maintain website content, updating of new information, image changes etc.
❖ Organizing press Familiarization trips from liaising with PR agencies or independent media to arrival/ departure and itinerary planning
❖ Identify PR opportunities and assist the DOSM with the composing of the annual PR/ Marketing and Social Media plan as well as PR activities across all departments of the resort
❖ Fam trip hosting and show-arounds to guests/ media/ PR / journalists etc.
❖ Promote news stories and features to the media, known as 'selling in'.
❖ Plan, direct, control, coordinate and participate in all Public Relations activities.
❖ Oversee and create content, production, and distribution of promotional printed materials including brochures and flyers.
❖ Overseeing third party photo shoots and filming
❖ Proper photo and video coverage of all inhouse events
❖ Develop and oversee the delivery of all publications, press and media communications, calendars, special promotions, and general public information on activities and events.
❖ Prepare annual marketing & public relations goals and budget, in cooperation with Sales & Marketing department develop working plans to carry out goals.
❖ Compare the actual achievements against the goals, periodically, and hence take necessary corrective action.
❖ Coordinate with the organization’s advertising agency in planning and implementing promotional activities, advertising campaigns, etc.
❖ Handle additional responsibilities as and when delegated by the Management.
REQUIREMENTS:
❖ Minimum 2 years of working experience within similar position in a Five-star Resort in Maldives.
❖ Experience in Photography and Content Creating.
❖ Excellent command of written and spoken English.
❖ Strong personality who fosters good team working relations.
❖ Experience working in a multicultural team including working in an isolated resort environment.
❖ Flexible working hours, hands on, patient, people’s person and very service oriented.
❖ Excellent organizational skills, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
