Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain licenses for all software and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
• Ensure that all systems are covered by the proper maintenance contracts.
• Manage an inventory of computer-related supplies to support business operations.
• Oversee the configuration records, programmed files, and data files on the computer system.
• Monitor the performance of computer software and maintain logs of performance reports, error and integrity check reports, system malfunctions, and solutions.
• Investigate and report software problems to vendors and coordinate resolution.
• Assist in maximizing opportunities to reduce IT costs through effective purchasing and negotiating maintenance contracts.
• Support the management and control of all IT expenses according to an agreed plan.
• Assist in establishing and testing business continuity plans for all parts of the business.
• Ensure that company data is secure and in line with company policies, regulations, and best practices.
• Implement and maintain access control measures in line with standards and best practices.
• Develop and implement ICT strategies by analyzing business needs, reviewing updates on technology trends, and crafting a roadmap for ICT objectives that support the organization's goals.
• Align ICT deliverables with business objectives: The Head of ICT needs to bridge the gap between technology and business strategy, ensuring that technological solutions are implemented to address specific business needs and contribute to achieving organizational objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, with at least 05 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software licensing, and maintenance contracts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve software issues.
• Experience in negotiating contracts and managing IT expenses.
• Knowledge of business continuity planning and data security best practices.
• Familiarity with access control standards and implementation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL) are a plus.
