Key Responsibilities:
• Forecasts impact of achievement of incentives and other programs.
• Plan and oversee consolidated budgets and long-range plans for corporate finance division.
• Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts relating to corporate finance business.
• Analyzes impact of external and internal factors on the corporate business portfolio and progress towards corporate financial goals.
• Executive Committee Reporting
• Provides high level performance “dashboard” quality reports to executive team and Board of Directors review
• Leads group completion of financial review templates and meetings.
• Analyzes and reports on key drivers of corporate finance portfolio business and company performance, including monthly and quarterly results and variance analysis.
• Analyzes actual results to understand variances, revise projections as appropriate.
• Operational Analysis
• Analyzes projections with respect to various operating strategies, shareholder value measures, and other metrics or objectives.
• Analyzes financial and operational data, draws conclusions and presents recommendations on decisions and actions.
• Performs sensitivity, scenario and what-if analysis as well as analyzes the financial impact of changes in business and new business opportunities/acquisitions.
• Conducts extensive research and industry analysis performance to explore opportunities to grow business.
• Investment Analysis
• Ensure adequacy of risk analysis and mitigations on Credit proposals
• Ensure due diligence and documentation compliance prior to disbursement of loans
• Develops models and methods to analyze volume and margin trends to develop both short and medium-term forecasts.
• Leads various analyses including, but not limited, to ROI/NPV/IRR in relation of financing proposals received to the division
• Management of the team
• Overseeing management of overdue collecting payments from the individuals or businesses responsible for the debt.
• Managing the operations of recoveries and collections of loans and lease facilities, leading the team to reach targets
• Identifying on all delinquent accounts that require legal proceedings on a regular basis.
• Creating and implementing a strategy to improve the collection of outstanding credit.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, management, and /or MBA or an advanced degree in business, management, banking or finance is preferred. Other professional qualification related to banking, finance and business maybe considered.
• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in a senior role in the field.
