- Planning of the menu card and devises new recipes
- Prepares foods for the crew
- Preparation of the dishes
- Competent storage of the food
- Cleanliness and order in the galley and the provision stores
- Estimates expected food consumption and organizes preparation
- Keeps records and accounts of food purchases.
- Tasks according to Muster List
Minimum Requirements:
- Certified Cook
- Compulsory Rating certificate, (flag state endorsement)
- Medical fitness
- Professional Experience (Culinary Arts)
