Requirements
- Degree in accounting from a recognized university OR
- Part qualified in ACCA or CIMA or any other recognized professional accounting body.
- Minimum 2-years’ experience in accounting or auditing.
- Must possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills to meet deadlines
- Ability to work individually and as a team.
- Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks,
- Microsoft Business Central etc;
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all company accounts
- Publish financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Assisting in general financial management and analysis.
