COORDINATOR
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:
• Previous experience in a similar function from a luxury island resort.
• Ability to work in a remote location or island life.
• Detail oriented/task motivated.
• Excellent telephone presentation, sales skills and ability to upsell is a plus.
• Experience in Opera , PMS or other Reservation software.
• Strong communication skills.
• Multilingual (Dhivehi and English speakers are essential)
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
• Ensure that the bulk bookings are sent for the upcoming arrivals and departures and request domestic flights for any additional/ new reservations.
• Promote and sell resort products and services using up-selling and suggestive selling techniques
• Develop and maintain a regular pattern of calls by adhering to LQA Mystery Shopping standards.
• Prepare the pickup report daily and send them to the concerned department heads.
• Ensure all ticket cancellations are done prior to the cancellation period to avoid any penalties
• Work with Finance to reconcile all guest tickets at the EOM
• Execute up-selling techniques which increase reservation sales and conversion of business
• Ability to multi-task efficiently
