STAFF VACANCY: ACCOUNTANT
To strengthen our valuable human resources, we are looking for dynamic and people oriented person to recruit as an Accountant in our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• To ensure reporting and maintenance financial records and reports in accordance with IFRS, relevant laws as imposed by MMA and relevant regulations (as asset provisioning).
• To prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports to assist and inform management and Board to capture business activities and drive strategic decisions.
• To institute and administer an effective system for ensuring efficient back office operations, administrative functions and safe custody of security documents.
• Assist the FC/DFC for the preparation of budgets, corporate matters including taxes, insurance, capital expenditure and special projects.
Qualifications and Experience:
• A Degree in Accounting (or related field) recognized by MQA;
• Recognition (completed/pursued) from a professional accounting body as ACCA / CIMA;
• Confidence in using accounting software and familiarity with accounting best practices;
• Minimum 05 years field experience, minimum 3 years being in a supervisory role overviewing reporting of IFRS accounting functions to Maldives requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and leadership competencies.
