We are a trade company based in the Maldives, operating 6 retail outlets and one restaurant. We are on the lookout for a dynamic and energetic individual highly experienced in modern trade business, to manage the wholesale section of our Seagull Foods department. Seagull Foods is the outlet in which we retail and wholesale imported as well as own produced food items.
Requirements
• Minimum 10 years of experience in similar capacity, in a foods related field, in a supermarket or brand
• Excellent organization and leadership skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Proficient in MS Office package
• Able to draw up detailed statistical reports and present to management
• Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis
• Excellent skills in the area of sales and marketing
• Pleasant personality and excellent selling skills
Responsibilities
• Responsible for the wholesale section of Seagull Foods
• Formulate strategies to achieve sales targets, including preparing annual plan.
• Plan and oversee execution of department’s activities with assistance from subordinates
• Identify the requirements and stock levels and ensure orders are placed within ample time before stock runs out.
• Design policies that align with overall strategy of the company to ensure Seagull Foods operations run effectively and efficiently.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies
• Maintain optimum level of inventory by Identifying requirements and stock levels and ensure orders are placed within ample time before stock runs out.
• Coordinate customer service operations and find ways to ensure customer retention while expanding the customer base.
• Mentor and motivate Seagull Foods team to achieve engagement and productivity.
• Forecasting (ensuring sales volume, sales promotion plans, displays etc.).
• Stay up to date with market trends and new products.
