Quantity Surveyor (Tendering)
Requirements:
Cost Estimation: Responsible for accurately estimating the costs involved in construction project.
Tender Preparation: Preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, and other relevant documentation to enable contractors to submit competitive bids.
Tender Evaluation: Assist in evaluation tenders from contracts, analyze cost breakdowns and assessing their overall suitability in relation to project requirements.
Contract Administration: Assess and value work variations, manage payments, and provide cost advice throughout the construction phase.
Cost Control: Monitor and control construction costs to ensure project stays within budget.
Dispute Resolution: Attend to disputes related to costs or variations, engage in negotiations and the resolve such issues.
Qualifications:
BSc (QS), HND, NVQ (Level 5), or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 5 years working experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred.
Experience with projects in the Maldives will be an advantage
Salary & Benefits
