General Requirements
• Diploma in Pharmacy or B. Pharmacy
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Hospital as Operation Theatre Store pharmacist
• Registered at a licensing authority
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
Job Specification
• Patient care and maintenance of quality standards in Operation Theatre Store
• Monitor all financial and standard operating process related to inventory management and stock keeping
• Surgical kits preparation
• Post charging for consumed medical consumables and implants
• Establish billing and pricing structures for pharmaceuticals
• Ensure availability of implants and consumables according to surgery requirements
• Counsel technicians and nursing staff on the use of medications, storage and advise for managing adverse drug reactions
• Act as a liaison with surgeon and anesthetist concerning medicine orders
• Plan and supervise activities in the hospital Operation Theatre Store areas
