To strengthen our valuable human resources, we are looking for a dynamic and people-oriented person to recruit for the outlined position in our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor the Loan Remediation portfolio and assist in achieving recovery objectives and maintaining NPA ratio within budget.
• Assist the manager for the initiation and implementation of legal cases in the implementation of the loan acceleration and enforcement work out plans, as per policies and procedure.
• Provide Finance Division with reliable and timely information necessary for informing the loan loss provisioning process of MFLC.
• Ensure that the security/collateral details for all facilities in the Loan Remediation portfolio is perfected, with the most recent asset valuations as appropriate.
• Ensure that non-performing loans are properly risk rated and prepare the relevant reports on time.
• Proactively engage with borrowers, other lenders, facility agents, and other departments of MFLC to obtain timely, relevant information and prepare written in-depth analysis and loan work-out strategies that protect MFLC and strengthen its credit risk profile.
• Assist in developing appropriate loan work-out strategies that reduce MFLC’s credit risk and help maximize return.
• Assist in Rescheduling, restructuring credit facilities including repayment terms, as well as develop strategies and plans to better secure collateral, effective collections, and monitor progress of agreed repayments.
• Assist in updating portfolio of distressed credit facilities/ loans to minimize loss and maximize value of recoveries from the sub and non-performing customer contracts of MFLC, in line with set targets.
• Prepare timely and comprehensive Loan Remediation reports to Senior Management/Executive Committee and the Board on a monthly and quarterly basis respectively.
• Support the manager to maintain custody of MFLC’s security title deeds and assign transfer of title deeds ownership and release of security/assets financed where facility is paid off and risks no longer exists for diluting MFLC security documents.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role or related field.
• Effective communication in English and Dhivehi, both verbal and written.
