We are looking for enthusiastic team players with great attitude for the following position to be responsible in managing the operations and delivering excellent guest experience.
Executive Chef
Location: Kagi Maldives Resort & Spa, Republic of Maldives, North Male’ Atoll, Maldives
Qualifications:
- Talented culinarian with at least 3 years of prior Executive Chef experience in a luxury / upscale resort environment
- Proven track record in developing team members
- A culinary arts bachelor’s or master’s degree will be considered an asset
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Good computer skills, e.g. e-mails for effective communication, writing and editing in Microsoft Word/Excel or Google Docs, searching for information with Google
- Perform any additional duties or special projects as directed by the Resort Management
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Must be physically fit and agile to perform duties of the job
- Italian cuisine knowledge will be an advantage
- Must have HACCP certification of Level 4 or equivalent
- Must be prepared to be hands-on in the kitchen

- Detailed-oriented mindset aiming for consistent results
- Able to interact with colleagues in a positive and professional manner in order to make them feel valued to maximize staff moral

- Willingness to replenish professional knowledge
