JOB OPPORTUNITY- ENGINEER
Job Description:
We are looking for a meticulous problem-solver to join us as an Engineer. The role involves installing and maintaining various alarm systems, analyzing blueprints, and addressing malfunctions promptly. Success in this role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of safety codes, and hands-on experience with diverse alarm systems.
Responsibilities:
• Installing, testing, and inspecting fire alarm systems from various brands, including Honeywell, Edwards, GST, Cooper, Menvier, AW & Apollo
• Installing, testing and inspecting suppression systems, hydrant systems, sprinkler systems etc
• Investigating and responding to alarms promptly
• Repairing and replacing system components
• Providing maintenance and corrective services
• Programming, calibrating, and adjusting systems
• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols
• Delivering exceptional customer service
• Reading and understanding product manuals
• Educating customers on care and maintenance
• Writing service and status reports
• Analyzing plans for relevant Ministry’s compliance
• Providing technical support to customers
• Provide consultancy in designing fire safety drawings
Requirements:
• Ability to diagnose and repair various fire alarm systems brands including Honeywell, Edwards, GST, Cooper, Menvier, AW & Apollo
• Ability to diagnose and repair issues in suppression systems, hydrant systems, sprinkler systems etc
• Knowledge of relevant codes and regulations practiced in the Maldives
• Generate service and status reports
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Associate or technical degree
• Proven record of excellent customer service
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work after hours and on weekends
• Fluent in English

• Ability to work independently
Remuneration:
