Assistant Reservations Manager

A senior member of the Reservations Department, and as the in-charge of Velassaru, he/she shall be responsible for carrying out all necessary and relevant tasks to facilitate and maintain an effective and efficient functioning of the Reservation Department.
Requirements / Qualification
• Diploma or Higher in Hospitality field or related field
• Should have atleast 01 year of experience in a similar role.
• Must have a sound knowledge in Opera PMS, SEO, Channel Manager, Booking Engines and Office Package.
• Outstanding Interpersonal skills and highly customer oriented.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Verbal & Written).
• Previous experience in the Maldives is an advantage.

Key Duties / Responsibilities
• Responsible for handling reservations functions of the resort and supporting the central reservation and sales & marketing team in maximizing occupancy and rate to achieve and/ or exceed target revenues.
• Responsible to prepare accurate reports as and when required and submit to the relevant parties promptly.
• Responsible to manage all functions of reservations which handles all bookings for FIT/OTA’s/SLH & website booking engine.
• Ensure that rates and special offers are set up properly in the PMS systems and are being applied properly by the reservation team.
• Ensure that travel agent commissions are handled properly and closely work with credit control to ensure all payables are under control.
• Creating, updating, and implementing standard operating procedures of the department.
